Discrete Terminal Super-Twisting Current Control of a Six-Phase Induction Motor

In this manuscript, the high-accuracy stator currents tracking issue is considered for a six-phase induction motor subject to external perturbations and uncertainties due unmeasurable rotor electrical parameter variations. To achieve control goals, common two-cascade controllers structure required type of motor. The first controller in outer loop consists proportional integral regulate speed. Then, second proposed inner nonlinear based on robust discrete-time terminal super-twisting algorithm supported by time-delay estimation method. For design procedure, dynamics are derived; example, vector matched specified simplify estimation. A detailed stability analysis closed-loop error using Lyapunov theory given. Finally, real asymmetrical used implement real-time developed method illustrate its effectiveness robustness. results obtained reveal satisfactory steady state transient conditions under variation magnetizing inductance. Moreover, comparative study with an existing two different speeds presented show superiority technique.
